Coffee and food pairing has always been an important part of Lavazza culture. Back in 2001, Giuseppe Lavazza first met the world renowned Chef Ferran Adrià where they developed a range of new coffee products and dessert pairings using innovative and daring techniques. Since then, pairing at Lavazza has evolved to encompass a wider range of food types, where the ambition has been to pair coffee and salted food. In all cases, Lavazza has embraced the challenge of complementing the unique characteristics of coffee with salted food of varying consistencies and flavours.
